Family law mediation with understanding and respect.

I was very happy to have found the team at Franklin Mediation. From the moment I made the online enquiry, I felt that my family mattered.  Jennifer was wonderful and made the process less stressful for me and we were both really pleased with the outcome.”

Expert mediation services to move your family forward

Family law mediation

Separating can bring conflict about how you’ll go your separate ways, but going to court doesn’t have to be your next step. Our experienced mediators guide respectful conversations about your future, helping you find realistic resolutions without unnecessary stress, time or expense.

Financial agreements

If you need help dividing your finances after separation, we can provide mediation that will help you untangle assets clearly and transparently, meeting your immediate needs and securing your long-term financial future. Move forward confidently with an agreement tailored specifically for you.

Parenting arrangements

Nothing is more important than your children’s wellbeing. We’ll help you create a child-focused parenting plan that covers living arrangements, finances, education and healthcare. Mediated parenting agreements support you to remain decision-makers for your children, avoiding court-imposed arrangements and focusing on what’s genuinely best for your family.

Small property pools (under $750K)

If your total shared assets (including super) are valued under $750,000, ask us about our reduced-rate mediation service. Specifically designed for families with modest property pools, this practical service helps you reach an affordable agreement quickly and clearly. Please speak to our practice manager for details.

Three simple steps to your mediation

1. Book your mediation

Click here to book instantly. Choose a date, time and mediation type that suits you and we’ll send you an email confirmation.

2. Prepare together

Your initial session with us will be a confidential one-on-one pre-mediation call. We’ll ask you more questions about your situation and what you hope to achieve with mediation. We’ll also talk you through what happens next so you know exactly what to expect, and we can answer any questions you may have.

3. Mediate your way

After we’ve spoken with the other party, we’ll invite you both to attend mediation in person or via Zoom, with flexible options for joint discussions or separate rooms (shuttle mediation). We have a range of options available to ensure you’re comfortable from start to finish.
